The 14th Batch of STMS College

The Short-Term Mission School College aims to equip current and graduated STPM and college students who are called to serve, providing comprehensive training through biblical studies, theological foundations, practical ministry, and a variety of learning experiences—equipping participants to face the challenges of ministry in the 21st century.

Objectives:
  • To equip Christians to become Christ's disciples for the advancement of the Gospel.
  • To provide in-depth study for young Christians who are involved in various ministries in the church, for the purpose of more effective ministry.
  • To help Christians who have dedicated their lives to be sure of God’s calling.
Course Methodology:
  • Lessons in the mornings and afternoons; self-study in the afternoons or evenings.
  • Church Ministry Exposure will be arranged in coordination with the theological students.
  • Short-term missions exposure will include visits to Iban longhouses, pioneering ministry work, or overseas missions.
  • Communal life at the school requires students to stay on campus.
Qualifications:
  • Born again Christian, already baptized & confirmed (actively involved in ministry).
  • For STMS Chinese, Music, Iban & English programs, the applicant must be age 18 and above, physically fit, psychologically and spiritually sound; with SPM or Senior High or above qualification (especially those who are waiting for the SPM or STPM results).
  • For the STMS College program, the applicant must be a college or university student or graduate, with age 21 years and above, physically fit, psychologically and spiritually sound.
  • Applicants must have an obedient heart, be consistent throughout the course, able to love people and willing to work hard.
  • Applicants must have formal recommendation from the church pastor.
STMS Chinese

Specifically designed for brothers and sisters with a calling to serve, the program provides comprehensive training through biblical studies, theological foundations, practical ministry, and a variety of learning experiences—equipping participants to face the challenges of ministry in the 21st century.

All teaching and learning will be conducted in the Chinese medium.

STMS Music

A training course designed for those who have sensed God’s calling upon their lives, equipping them for more effective involvement in various church ministries, with a special focus on enhancing the quality of worship and music ministry.

All teaching and learning will be conducted in the Chinese medium.

STMS English

This program provides comprehensive training in English, covering biblical studies, theological foundations, practical ministry, and a variety of learning experiences, equipping participants to face the challenges of ministry in the 21st century.

All teaching and learning will be conducted in the English medium.

STMS BM

This program provides comprehensive training in BM, covering biblical studies, theological foundations, practical ministry, and a variety of learning experiences, equipping participants to face the challenges of ministry in the 21st century.

All teaching and learning will be conducted in the Bahasa Malaysia medium.

STMS Iban

This program provides comprehensive training in Iban language, covering biblical studies, theological foundations, practical ministry, and a variety of learning experiences, equipping participants to face the challenges of ministry in the 21st century.

All teaching and learning will be conducted in the Bahasa Iban medium.

How to Apply?

  • To obtain Application Form from the pastors in the local church.
  • Write a testimony on personal salvation experience and the calling to join the short-term missions training course.
  • Photocopies of school report cards or relevant certificates, 2 passport-size photographs.
  • The School authority reserves the right to accept or reject the applicants on reasonable grounds.
