MTS offers full degree courses since 1996. Our unique ministry is to provide theological education for ministers, musicians, missionaries and other leaders in both the Chinese and the Iban churches. In order to achieve the expected standard of theological training, we decide to take the following directions:

Evangelical

Our curriculum equips students to understand the gospel, deepen their commitment, and preach to others in the power of Holy Spirit.

Scholarly

Beside study to the bible, also learn from the accumulated experiences and wisdom of the Church, with a special emphasis on Wesleyan heritage.

Comprehensive and balanced

We believe theological education extends beyond academics to include worship, devotion, fasting, prayer, discussion, community life, conduct, leadership, and service.

Contemporary

Possess the ability to discern the needs of people, society, and the global community in this new millennium, staying updated on the latest news, information and knownledge.

Church-oriented

Theological education must serve the needs of the church. We equip students to understand their spiritual gifts, enabling effectively collaborate and serve the churches.

Practical

Our school values field education, ensuring students apply their learning in churches or organizations. Regular Field Education Seminars support their growth and effectiveness in ministry.
